What's on the table

The bottomless part is in the glass: mimosas and sangrias, refilled for $25 a person. The plates come from a Mexican brunch menu built for sharing a long table with friends.

Chilaquiles. Huevos con chorizo. Carnitas eggs Benedict. A breakfast burrito, crispy French toast and the red velvet chicken & waffles. Add bacon, home fries or yuca fries for the middle of the table.

A party brunch, not a quiet one

Brunch with a live DJ

This isn't an eggs-and-coffee brunch. The DJ starts at noon, the room sits under a canopy of rainbow umbrellas, and the music is loud from the first round of mimosas. Cantina has had a live DJ every day since it opened in 2015 as Manhattan's first Mexican rooftop.

On Saturdays brunch rolls into dinner at 5pm, and Cantina After Dark (21+) takes over from 11pm till 3am. On Sundays dinner runs till 11pm.

Rain, cold or sun

In summer the retractable glass roof opens and brunch happens under the sky. In winter it closes and the room is heated, so rooftop brunch doesn't stop when the weather turns. The skyline stays either way.
