Cantina Rooftop is a Mexican restaurant and rooftop bar about a 10-minute walk (0.45 miles) south of Terminal 5, the concert venue at 610 W 56th St. Eat first, with a live DJ every night from our rooftop at 605 W 48th St, then walk up 11th Avenue to the show. Heads-up: we're closed on Mondays.

From your table to the venue door
Leave 605 W 48th St and walk east to the corner of 11th Avenue. Turn left and follow 11th Avenue north for eight blocks, to 56th Street, then turn left again: Terminal 5 is at 610 W 56th St. On the way up you pass DeWitt Clinton Park, between 52nd and 54th Streets.
The whole walk is 0.45 miles, about 10 minutes, so there's no subway or cab to plan around. Finish your margarita, pay, and you're at the show.

Timing dinner around the show
Door and set times change from show to show, so check the venue's website for times on your date and work backwards: about 10 minutes to walk, plus a relaxed dinner. Dinner starts at 5pm, and walk-ins are welcome, but on a show night a reservation is the safer bet.
One catch for Monday shows: Cantina is closed on Mondays, so plan your dinner here for another night. This week's hours: Tuesday to Thursday 5pm to 11pm, Friday 5pm to 3am, Saturday 12pm to 3am and Sunday 12pm to 9:30pm. Closed Mondays.

Warm-up act
Cantina opened in 2015. The menu is Mexican (tacos, guacamole, margaritas and mezcal) and a DJ plays live every night, so the music starts before the show does. The glass roof is retractable: open to the skyline in summer, closed and heated in winter, so a cold concert night still works. See the menu →
