Cantina Rooftop is 0.9 miles west of Times Square, about a 20-minute walk along 48th Street or a short cab ride, at 605 W 48th St in Hell's Kitchen. It's a Mexican restaurant and rooftop bar with dinner from 5pm and a live DJ every night: eat early, then head east to the theater.

One street, west to east
The route couldn't be simpler: leave 605 W 48th St and walk east on 48th Street, crossing 11th, 10th, 9th and 8th Avenues, until you reach 7th Avenue and Broadway at Times Square. It's 0.9 miles.
Coming the other way, from Times Square to us, walk west on 48th Street toward the river. We're between 11th and 12th Avenues, on the rooftop of the HK Hall building.
Rather not walk in theater shoes? It's a short cab ride. The C/E subway at 50th Street is also about 12 minutes from our door.

Give yourself time
Twenty minutes on foot is a real walk, so plan the evening backwards from your show: check the theater's website for times, allow about 20 minutes to walk (or less by cab), and book a table early enough to finish dinner without watching the clock. Dinner starts at 5pm, and the earlier table is the relaxed one.
