Bryant Park is 1.3 miles from Cantina Rooftop: about a 26-minute walk across town, or a short cab ride. We're a Mexican restaurant and rooftop bar at 605 W 48th St in Hell's Kitchen, with dinner from 5pm, a live DJ every night and a glass roof that opens in summer and closes, heated, in winter. Across 42nd Street, then up 11th
Leave the park on the 6th Avenue side and walk west along 42nd Street. You pass the south end of Times Square at 7th Avenue and the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 8th, then the blocks quiet down as you keep going to 11th Avenue.
Turn right on 11th Avenue and walk six blocks north to 48th Street. Turn left: 605 W 48th St is on that block, before 12th Avenue, and Cantina Rooftop is up on the roof of the HK Hall building.
All told it's 1.3 miles, about 26 minutes, a proper walk at the end of a day in Midtown. If your feet have done enough already, a cab across town is a short ride.

Maybe it was a long sit in the park, a lunch break that turned into an afternoon, or a list of Midtown errands finally crossed off. Either way, dinner on our roof starts at 5pm, and the walk over is enough to shake off the day.
