What's in the glass
The house margarita is Vozul tequila, lime and agave, and there's a frozen one too. El Jefe swaps in Vozul añejo with triple sec and a splash of orange juice. The Habanero Margarita is made with Tanteo habanero tequila, and the skinny one is Vozul, Combier orange liqueur, lime and grapefruit.
On the mezcal side, the bottles are Soy Valiente, Tres Papalotes and Amarás. The Spicy Mango gets habanero mezcal and habanero salt, the Jalapeño Margarita gets jalapeño salt, and El Besito brings passion fruit and ginger beer. For a group, a pitcher of margaritas is $70, or $85 with mango, passion fruit or strawberry.
Something to eat with it
Guacamole comes three ways, and the tacos come three to an order, from birria with consomé to carnitas. Our tacos → On Tuesdays, tacos are unlimited for $25 per person for 90 minutes (Taco Tuesday). At weekend brunch, the bottomless deal covers mimosas and sangrias, $25 per person (bottomless brunch).
We're at 605 W 48th St, between 11th and 12th Avenues on the west side of Hell's Kitchen, on the roof of the HK Hall building. The Intrepid is about 5 minutes on foot, Terminal 5 about 10, and Times Square about 20. In winter the glass roof closes and the room is heated.

How much is a margarita at Cantina Rooftop?

What is the skull margarita?
The Vozul Skull Margarita, $39: Vozul tequila, fresh lime and simple syrup in a skull mug that's yours to keep.
Do you have mezcal cocktails?
Yes: the Spicy Mango, the Jalapeño Margarita, the Mezcal Smash, El Besito and the Frozen Pineapple Mezcal Margarita, $18 each.
Do you have spicy margaritas?
Three: the Habanero Margarita with Tanteo habanero tequila, the Jalapeño Margarita with mezcal and jalapeño salt, and the Spicy Mango with habanero mezcal and habanero salt.
Is there a skinny margarita?
Yes, $18: Vozul tequila, Combier orange liqueur, lime and a splash of grapefruit.
What if someone isn't drinking?
There are virgin piña coladas and mojitos, a Phony Negroni, agua fresca and alcohol-free beer. Our zero-proof drinks.
When is the bar open?
Our hours: Tuesday to Thursday 5pm to 11pm, Friday 5pm to 3am, Saturday 12pm to 3am and Sunday 12pm to 9:30pm. Closed Mondays. Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking a table. Book a table.
