From the Intrepid Museum at Pier 86 (W 46th St and 12th Avenue), head north on 12th Avenue, turn right on 48th Street, and look for 605 W 48th St, between 11th and 12th Avenue. Cantina Rooftop is on the rooftop of the HK Hall building. It takes about 5 minutes.
Cantina opened in 2015 as a Mexican restaurant and rooftop bar. The retractable glass roof opens in summer and closes in winter, when the room is heated, so we're open all year, with a live DJ every night. How the heated rooftop works →

Dinner starts at 5pm, an easy next stop after an afternoon at the museum. On Saturday and Sunday, brunch runs from 12pm to 4:30pm (last seating 3:45pm), so you can eat before your visit or right after it.
