The theater is on the third floor of One Astor Plaza, at the Broadway end of W 45th St, so give yourself a few extra minutes once you're inside. From our rooftop at 605 W 48th St, it's about 17–18 min on foot, or a short cab. Tacos, margaritas and a live DJ first, then the show.

  1. Head east on W 48th St, toward 11th Ave.
  2. Cross 11th, 10th and 9th Aves. At 8th Ave, turn right and go 3 blocks south to W 45th St.
  3. Turn left on W 45th St. The Minskoff is on your right.

In theater shoes or bad weather, it's a short cab ride. Tell the driver 200 W 45th St.

At the door

Most theaters open their doors 30 to 45 minutes before curtain, and some ask you to arrive earlier to clear security. We plan for you to be there 30 minutes before curtain, or earlier if the theater asks.

Late seating is up to the theater, so leave yourself room. Tell your server you have a show when you sit down.

How far is the Minskoff from Cantina Rooftop?

About 17–18 min on foot from our door at 605 W 48th St, or a short cab. Minskoff Theatre is at 200 W 45th St.

When should I book dinner before a 7pm show at the Minskoff?

Book the 5:00 pm table and leave by 6:12 pm. That has you at the door 30 minutes before curtain or earlier, if the theater asks. Book a table.

What about a matinee?

On a Saturday with a 2pm show, sit down for brunch at 12:00 pm and leave by 1:12 pm. We don't serve lunch on weekdays, so for a Wednesday matinee, come up for dinner afterward: we open at 5pm.

Can we eat after the show instead?

Yes. The last reservation is 10pm Tuesday to Saturday and 9pm on Sunday. We're closed on Mondays. Book a late table.

How long will dinner take?

Tables are held for 90 minutes. If you have a show, tell your server when you sit down and order early.
