Penn Station is 1.5 miles south of Cantina Rooftop: about a 30-minute walk, the C or E uptown to 50 St, or a short cab. We're a Mexican restaurant and rooftop bar at 605 W 48th St in Hell's Kitchen, with dinner from 5pm and a live DJ every night, whether you've just come in by train or you're heading to a game or concert at Madison Square Garden.

Three ways up from 34th Street
Subway. The C and E stop at 34 St–Penn Station. Ride uptown to 50 St, come up, and walk west toward the river for about 12 minutes; we're on 48th Street between 11th and 12th Avenues.
Cab. The simplest choice: a short ride to 605 W 48th St, the HK Hall building, with Cantina Rooftop on the roof.
On foot. 1.5 miles, about 30 minutes, north through Hell's Kitchen and then west on 48th Street past 11th Avenue. Walk up 11th Avenue instead and you pass Hudson Yards and the Javits Center on the way.

Arriving by train. Get to your hotel or your friends' place first, then make your first meal in town a Mexican one: dinner from 5pm, or on Saturday and Sunday, brunch from 12pm to 4:30pm (last seating 3:45pm). Walk-ins welcome, reservations recommended.
A game or concert at the Garden. Event times vary, so check Madison Square Garden's website for yours, then book a table early enough to eat and still make the trip south: about 28 minutes on foot, or less by cab or the C/E. After an afternoon event, come up for dinner instead.
Event on a Monday? We're closed that night, so plan your meal here for another day.

Before the game, a table on the roof

Yes, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 4:30pm, last seating 3:45pm. Bottomless brunch is $25 per person for 90 minutes, with the whole table joining in.
