East of Broadway on W 45th St, between 6th and 7th Aves, so the walk takes you across Times Square. From our rooftop at 605 W 48th St, it's about 18–19 min on foot, or a short cab. Tacos, margaritas and a live DJ first, then the show.

The walk to the Lyceum

Head east on W 48th St, toward 11th Ave.
Cross 11th, 10th and 9th Aves. At 8th Ave, turn right and go 3 blocks south to W 45th St.
Turn left on W 45th St and cross Broadway and 7th Ave. The Lyceum is on your left.

In theater shoes or bad weather, it's a short cab ride. Tell the driver 149 W 45th St.

Most theaters open their doors 30 to 45 minutes before curtain, and some ask you to arrive earlier to clear security. We plan for you to be there 30 minutes before curtain, or earlier if the theater asks.

Late seating is up to the theater, so leave yourself room. Tell your server you have a show when you sit down.

How far is the Lyceum from Cantina Rooftop?

About 18–19 min on foot from our door at 605 W 48th St, or a short cab. Lyceum Theatre is at 149 W 45th St.

When should I book dinner before a 7pm show at the Lyceum?

Book the 5:00 pm table and leave by 6:11 pm. That has you at the door 30 minutes before curtain or earlier, if the theater asks. Book a table.

What about a matinee?

On a Saturday with a 2pm show, sit down for brunch at 12:00 pm and leave by 1:11 pm. We don't serve lunch on weekdays, so for a Wednesday matinee, come up for dinner afterward: we open at 5pm.

Can we eat after the show instead?

Yes. The last reservation is 10pm Tuesday to Saturday and 9pm on Sunday. We're closed on Mondays. Book a late table.

How long will dinner take?

Tables are held for 90 minutes. If you have a show, tell your server when you sit down and order early.
