An anniversary dinner with no violin anywhere near it
If romance means white tablecloths and a hushed room, we're the wrong call. If the two of you would rather toast with skull mugs while a DJ plays, tell us it's your anniversary when you book and come on up.

If you'd like it a little calmer
Book the first table of the night, 5pm on a weeknight. The DJ's already on, but the night gets louder as it goes, so early is as calm as it gets.

Anniversary questions
Is Cantina Rooftop good for an anniversary dinner?
For the right couple. It's a loud, colorful Mexican rooftop with a live DJ, so you'll get a fun night and a good story. If you want a romantic restaurant in the quiet sense, we'd look elsewhere.
Can we bring our own cake?
Ask us when you book, in the occasion box or by phone at (212) 957-1700, and we'll go over it with you.
Is there a dress code?
No special one. Casual is fine, and so is dressing up for the occasion.
Is it open on a Monday anniversary?
No. We're closed on Mondays. We're open Tuesday to Sunday, so the weekend before or the Tuesday after will have to do.
