Outdoor dinner on a rooftop, when the weather lets us
The glass roof opens on warm days. When it's cold or raining it stays closed, so you can't count on it in winter, or on any wet night. Call that afternoon if the open sky is why you're coming.

When to aim for it
Plan on warm days, and don't plan on it being open at all from late fall through early spring. If you're booking weeks ahead, assume nothing and check the forecast that day.
If the open roof is the only reason you're coming, call us that afternoon at (212) 957-1700 and ask. If you'd come either way, just book. In bad weather you're still on a rooftop, which is more than you can say for most patios.

Does Cantina Rooftop have outdoor seating?
Yes, on warm days. The rooftop has a retractable glass roof, which opens on warm days and closes when it's cold or raining.
Can I reserve an outdoor table?
You book a table on the roof. Whether the roof is open depends on the weather that day, so we can't promise it when you book.
Is it open-air right now?
Call us at (212) 957-1700 that day. In November we'd check before counting on it.
