Beer with the alcohol taken out
Non-alcoholic beer usually starts as real beer. The brewer ferments it and takes the alcohol out afterward, which is why it tastes closer to beer than it used to.

What's actually in the bottle
Heineken launched its version in Europe in 2017 and brought it to the US in 2019. The company takes the alcohol out after brewing, then restores the fruity aromas that leave with it.
A light non-alcoholic lager does the same job as the regular kind with salsa, tacos and lime. Labels can differ, and some drinks sold this way may carry a trace of alcohol, so if you need to avoid it entirely, check the bottle or ask.

Corona Non Alcoholic · Heineken Alcohol Free: questions
Does non-alcoholic beer have alcohol?
Some can have a trace, depending on the brand and how it's labeled. Check the bottle if you need to avoid alcohol completely.
How do they take the alcohol out of beer?
Most modern brewers use a vacuum, which lowers the boiling point so the alcohol evaporates without cooking the flavor away.
